And all it took was Checo literally forgetting to start a race.

During the sprint yeah. He missed the green light and then just kind of forgot to accelerate as he left the pitlane

I didn't say Max was a failure, I said Checo was. Max didn't win because of Checos help except for that first WDC when Checo held up LH and gave Max some drift here and there.
Didn't Max literally win the 2023 Constructers championship on his own? Again, idk how that's a ringing endorsement of Checos involvement in the team. I don't even recall if the same is true of 2022, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Checo was 3rd in 2022 and 2nd in 2023.
But also yes Max had 575 points last year and Mercedes at #2 had 409

bye checo please never ever come back
he reminds me of a temporary overachiever who overachieved and then went back to being their normal mid selves.
Just got back from Yas Marina/AD and what a finish to the season that was. Happy for McLaren and a bit sad at Ferrari, would have been kind of cool to see Carlos help them snatch the constructors right at the end there.
Max turn 1 shenanigans were lots of fun and Oscar recovered very decently. Good bye Checo indeed, can’t wait for the formal announcement and interested in whether they will finally put Yuki up. Overall, it was a much more fun season than 23
Finallyyyyy
Poor Tsunoda though. What does he have to do to get the promotion

Stop hitting things, probably.
Probably not be a Honda hire.
Yeah, Yuki is there because of Honda. Red Bull and Honda are gonna be fully parting ways at the end of next season and I wouldn't be surprised to be him gone then.
