I'd have to imagine the Giants will draft a QB. Eli at best probably only has a couple decent seasons left, Giants need to start looking to the future.

Have to take advantage of a rare top pick to grab a top QB prospect. Otherwise you're relying on the tiny chance of finding one in FA or trading an assload of picks to trade up in a future draft

Oh nah, was just speaking objectively as I think Baker would be there at 6 whereas whispers have Allen going earlier for whatever reason. Definitely didn't need to trade up to target him afaik. My personal preference is Baker or Rosen.

Gotcha. I agree. It's always hard to know where guys fall on the different teams' big boards so it's possible the jets love him and want to ensure they get him
