Are people in Green Bay actually excited about adding M-Lewis? lol. Dude is ancient and if the Jags were willing to let him walk, that is probably a bad sign.

Just like every other free agent tight end we've signed recently (other than Jimmy Graham), fans seem to be like "oh, uh, ok, hope that works out with (Jared Cook/Martellus Bennet/Marcedes Lewis)"
PFF did have him graded as the #9 TE in 2017 despite not piling up receiving stats, apparently he's an amazing blocker.
Interesting article from a Harvard Law professor that banning kneeling during the anthem is unconstitutional.

Clay Matthews was pitching at a charity softball game and took a liner to the face. Immediately came off the field holding his face

They are killing themselves for millions of dollars. Very few actually give a shit about entertaining us. Get it straight, at least.
Yeah, those 1960's players that had so much to do with kneeling and the flag in today's World.
No, I get what you're saying, but it is apples/oranges to the players today. If you don't get that, then you're the idiot.
is the “they” here the players or the league?
I can 100% guarantee the average fan is going to watch regardless of protests, and I’ll even go a step further: the average fan who does care still watches regardless of what they pretend to say in public or social media
DRAM TRAM
The only difference now is players in the 60’s protested, they and their families were at risk. Today they just get nasty comments on social media so no it’s not even apples to oranges. Players now feel safe enough to stand up against shit they’ve been dealing with since our grandparents were kids.
No, another difference is today they make millions of dollars to entertain us and in the past they did not, as you already pointed out...
My point wasn't at all about the protests or what they are protesting about. Someone said they are killing themselves for our entertainment. They, themselves, are killing themselves for millions of dollars. If suddenly they were making $35,000, 99.9% of them would do something else.
