Do the writers not know they write a show about professional wrestling? I can't think of any other TV show where a character looks at the camera and says "the guys writing the show didn't let me know what was going to happen in advance!" Imagine someone getting eaten by zombies on The Walking Dead showing up in the next episode saying "I showed up on the set and no one told me I was going to be eaten!"

If you want to call it the WWE Universe, you have to adhere to the idea that it is, in fact, its own universe, and in that universe these people are actually competing against one another in an athletic competition.

A bit of that might be true. Meltzer was saying that the decision for Brock going over was made very late, possibly even the day of 'Mania--and that no one outside of Vince, Brock, Roman, and Heyman were told. The referee was informed halfway thru the match via his earpiece that Brock was going to win.

Interesting if true, but still. In the world of wrestling they had a match and Brock won because he's an absolute monster, not because Vince made the decision to put the belt on Roman in Saudi Arabia instead.

Nah. 6:30 to Atlanta, then to IAD.

Felt bad for the wrestlers. I think it’s crazy inappropriate to ask for autographs and pictures at the airport. Especially after mania weekend where these guys were probably working nonstop.

Jeff and Bray couldn’t walk a foot without getting stopped. Rollins was with his family and was straight up telling everyone no. Cesaro looked half-dead. Braun was hilarious. He would mean mug the adults telling them no, but with kids he was all smiles and in character. He took a group pic with like 4 kids and told them “Remember to listen to your moms!”

I remember a few years ago punk went off on someone in the airport cause they wanted him to sign something at the airport that didn't even have his picture on it or something, and did a several minute tirade how the guy was trying to get rich off of him on ebay.

There are some creepy people that literally figure out people's flights, hotels, etc. and just stalk them for autographs that get flipped on ebay. I'm sure UFC fighters have similar issues.

While waiting in line for the Stone Cold signature, there was a guy who had a small cart of shit for him to sign. He must’ve spent at least 2g’s in meet and greet fees. I learned that apparently Austin doesn’t do that many autograph sessions so his signature would go for buttloads on eBay. Should check to see how much my belt along with the other signatures go for lol.
