Just looked at the channel guide description for Impact. "The biggest stars in professional wrestling battle for supremacy and compete for championship gold, including Alberto El Patron, Lashley, EC3, Eli Drake, Moose, Matt Morgan, and others."

How old is that description? Until I looked it up, I thought E-LI Drake was the only one that is still there, but Moose is.

Nothing has been announced yet. I kind of like not having a title shot at 'Mania being at stake for once. They always like to hype that ANYONE could win the Rumble, but of course its always ends up being one of the usual suspects. It'll be nice to have some mystery surrounding it again.

Well, out of 50 people, there are still going to be about 35-40 you could cross off even if there's no prize. It's the largest Royal Rumble in HISTORY! Is Jericho going to be someone doing double duty, and if so, does that mean the Rumble goes on early? If he's going to get squashed by Taker, may as well have that after he was in another match, rather than losing a casket match then being in the Rumble itself.

edit: So, apparently this was taped in January? I didn't know they taped that much at a time. I think I saw that the next taping is the day after Redemption. That's not too bad. They can just cut Alberto stuff and use vignettes for the Aries stuff instead.

Without even looking at the roster or list of participants, this is just off the top of my head:

People I could see winning, and it'd be actually be well-received: Daniel Bryan, Braun Strowman, Dean Ambrose (no idea if he's healed up yet), Lashley (a bit of a wild card, but maybe)
People I'd also be totally fine with winning, but find it extremely doubtful: Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn
Person that they'll try to make you believe has a shot to win, but nobody will buy it: Dolph Ziggler
Person who will probably win, because Vince believes he's good at listening to the fans: Randy Orton

Number of eliminations by Braun: 18 or something absolutely obscene

Yeah, that's the only reason I bothered to even mention Sami, but at the same time they took the title off Jinder right before the Indian tour AND had him lose to HHH on that. Charlotte and Asuka got 4 stars as did Almas and Black.
From ROH, Kota Ibushi and Hangman Page got 4.25. Young Bucks vs So Cal Uncensored got 4.5. I would have given both .25 higher, but that is minor. Kenny Omega vs Cody Rhodes got 4.25. I can't believe Im saying this, but Cody's heel antics carried that match.
He didn't rate a lot of the indy matches that weekend, but there were some great fucking matches. He did mention Ospreay vs Riddle, ZSJ vs Ishii(4.25), Will Ospreay, Chuck Taylor & Rocky Romero vs. Kota Ibushi, Flip Gordon, & Shane Strickland, Walter vs PCO, and a few more.
