Heard the PPV last night was terrible lmao? Only got to watch Miz vs Rollins.
I just cancelled myself. One of the new answers for why you can cancel is not happy with current Superstars and Storylines.
That's the reason I picked when I cancelled, though I considered using Other and giving a specific answer. You know they're going to blame it on the wrong person/people and interpret it how they want to. After hearing how bad this PPV was, I'm really curious how many people cancelled last night. I quit after Miz/Rollins, and it sounds like the booking continued to be shit after that.
I was on the fence if I wanted to make an attempt to watch this PPV. I just knew AJ/Nakamura was going to have another shitty ending, and I couldn't see Reigns losing 3 PPV main events in a row. I may go back to just watch Rollins/Miz, but that would be about it.
ACH was expected, and Sabin is an interesting choice for the last spot. B Block >>> A Block
Main event of Night 1: Ospreay vs. Ishimori
Presumptive ME of Night 13, when both blocks have their final matches: Hiromu vs. KUSHIDA
Odd thing is I believe Ishimori is only in the main event on opening night. KUSHIDA and especially Marty are in low amounts for the junior ace and another recent champ, but it's tough when it's a stacked block plus Hiromu is main eventing almost every show.
I'm expecting Ospreay vs. Ishimori at Dominion, leaving a probable rematch of the 3-way tag match from Sakura Genesis. Marty's the 6-man champ, and that has everyone booked except one...
Official for Dominion so far:
Okada vs. Omega
Naito vs. Jericho - Why have so many people (not here) assumed that would be for Cow Palace?
Goto vs. Elgin vs. Taichi
EVIL & SANADA vs. Young Bucks
Rey Mysterio vs. ???
That's gotta be Kushida, right? If it were going to be Liger (or even Tanahashi which is an idea that just hit me), they would/could have announced it already. Kushida fails to advance to the finals, another video of Rey airs during the finals, challenging Kushida. Book it, Gedo!
Hiromu winning wouldn't surprise me either and only leaves my boy Bushi with nothing to do, but what do you even do with Ishimori at Dominion then? Special singles match or a ho-hum 10-man match alongside the Tongans?
Progress Wrestling is doing a few US shows later this year.

"Detroit, New York City, Boston, Seattle, and for the first time ever, CHICAGO.
Further details soon."
August 4-12
PROGRESS was awesome when I went last year in Queens. I hope they run a better building though. There were like 1400 people packed into this tiny ass rec gym and it was 5 billion degrees.
Yeah Jim Smallman has stated that they would have to be desperate for a venue to return to the Elmcor Center. That place was a damn sauna and this tour will be in August like that show was so it wouldn't be any better.
They just had their Super Strong Style 16 tournament end today.
Spoiler: show
Hyped for all BoSJ. Wish Shelley was there. Really pumped to see Taiji Ishimori. Thought he was a great pick to be the new Boner Soldier.
Dontaku was legit and even if Jericho will more than likely lose, as usual he makes a huge statement and gets people talking.
My boy who's a Roman mark thought the PPV last night was pretty good. Not sure how anyone can defend Backlash as being a good show. And because it was Backlash...
Roman/Balor/Zayn and Sasha/Ember/Riott in MITB triple threat qualifying matches on Raw tonight.
For anyone that is cancelling their WWE sub and wants some alternate streaming services for some quality rasslin
ROH Honor Club - different tiers, but I suggest the $120/yr one. Get all their PPVs and a lot of their big house shows including the War of the Worlds stuff coming up in a few days. They are still working on the back catalogue.
NJPWWorld - 999 yen(about 9 bucks). Get a few shows a month. Probably the most consistent in-ring current content
PROGRESS - I think it is like $8.50 a month? Has all the PROGRESS show(aka chapters) and other things
DDT Universe - About $9 a month right now. They are introducing tiers in August. Not only do you get all the DDT shows live stream and on-demand. You also get other promotions including Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling(TJPW), Basura, and a bunch more.
Stardom World - $6.50 a month. One of the best Japanese women's(joshi) promotions. They usually post 1-2 matches a day and they have 1-3 cards a weekend, so content rarely runs out. They talent level ranges from beginners to top tier(Io Shirai, Mayu Iwatani, Toni Storm, etc.). They also translate their promos while some other Japanese streaming services do not.
There are tons more that I can think of, but I've never checked them out. Stuff like AJPW, WWNLive, RevPro, Highspots. Chikaratopia, Impact. There are tons more, but they are probably even more niche than what I mentioned already.
Just what did he think was pretty good? I know that at the end of the day, having someone you like win can buoy it a bit, but the rest of the card was terrible aside from the opener.
Are there any details about these? Are they going to be cross-brand matches, or are they going the insane route of having 4 of these?
Also, can Braun challenge Brock at MITB, only for Roman to cash in on him after that? They could hilariously go the CM Punk route with Roman. I think that's what it was? Punk cashed in on Jeff Hardy and was like "what? I'm the bad guy?" before finally embracing it.
Lmao at the Thanos Get These Hands sign lol.
Holy shit just saw the commercial raw’s gonna be here again july 30th, gonna get my tickets again. Lul
