Finding electabuzz's outside of that quest is nigh impossible. I've been hunting for that quest to get candies to evolve one.

Ah. I guess I've been lucky with them in the past. Its magmars that I've never really been able to find. I only have 50 candies for him and the majority of that came from magby eggs.

I can pick up my 7th day research reward today, but I may as well wait until the first so I have a chance to get Ho-Oh or Lugia instead of the basic birds and dogs I have enough of.

So I'm normally behind in these sorts of things, so I'm probably the only one who didnt know this, but just sitting down and jacking off your phone with adventure sync is the absolute best, fastest, and easiest way to get walking distance.

Also, got my first Riolu from an egg today. Bonus because it was a Wonder and extra bonus because it also gave me 42 candy so now just 8 away.

Decided to google around and the researchers are apparently;
Make 15 nice throws
Make 10 great throws
Hatch an egg
Earn 1 candy with buddy

And shiny rare is basically the same as community day, which is like 5%. Except this isnt a community day even where they spawn all over the place.

So for some ungodly reason Swinub is the next community day pokemon.

But, it looks like we'll also be getting its second evolution at that time (uses sinnoh stone)

The exciting thing is "earn 5 rewards per day from trainer battles during the weekend" and "earn up to 5 sinnoh stones from trainer battles during community day."

Yeah, aside from the 1st two weeks when 7day research was 100%, I've gotten one single other stone from it. A couple times a week I'll pvp my girlfiend because that has a chance to give a sinnoh stone. I've gotten two stones from about 15 or so battles and she's gotten at least 5- and not enough candies to evolve any of them.
