bug event started this morning.
Dweebles in the wild now with a chance of being shiny. Same with nincada(or nincada might just be incense.)
Research tasks are... not that great and dont really seem to be worth going out of your way for. Maybe for the Scyther.
Catch 7 Bug-Type Pokémon reward - 1000 Dust
Catch 15 Bug-Type Pokémon reward - Burmy
Hatch an Egg reward - Scyther
Make 5 Curveball Throws reward - Pineco
Trade a Pokémon reward - Shelmet or Karrablast
Use 3 Berries to catch Pokémon reward - Dweeble

Bug out event was pretty much a bust for me. Got zero shiney with the incense I've used. Though I did finally finish the throw back champion challenge, and got a hundo scyther.

Roughly 2.2 million till level 40, slowly getting there....

Unless that's one that's given to you after you finish the initial 3 segments, it has to be fake.

I'm on part 3 now and it's:
-catch 50 pokemon
-make 1 excellent throw
-catch 15 different species of pokemon

So yeah, super easy especially compared to that image. And the rewards are totally different too.

It is the “bonus” tier task. There is no reward to speak of. You aren’t missing anything of consequence by not completing it.

This little event thing was kind of lame, too. More birthday hats and another costume pikachu. Managed to get enough to evolve blue duck though.

Couldn't tell you without seeing the email address. But the fact it's 'signed' Rocket Grunt, it's probably a part of some promotion/event they're doing.
