Tons of rockets today but paid off with 3 hundos, ralts mudkip and Articuno.
Got some legendarys that I was missing, and 98 Zapdos. More shiny sevipers....shiny zangous ran away still upset about that one. Shadow Mewtwo and victini had meh rolls.

Went pretty hardcore yesterday, was more picky today. I was able to catch every new shiny except a shiny Durant. Didn't do many raids either day, the allure of shiny checking was too strong.
I liked the incense spawns; they put a lot of good stuff exclusively in there and it evened the playing field a bit for players who wanted to stay home exclusively. Day 1's rotating schedule was interesting, you could plan your day around certain biomes you wanted to target. Some good shadow mon for PVP along with quality non-shiny stuff like stunfisk, togetic, darumaka, and litwick.
That said, the difference in experience between driving around and being incense-only was massive. I don't know how Niantic could fix something like that. Maybe incense should be Community Day shiny rate while wild spawns are the usual Go Fest rate. I wonder what players were expecting. Anyway I had fun.
I sent friend invites to Souj and Lenus.
Not a fan of the way Niantic implemented Mega-Evolutions.
At work for another 4 hr so can't watch. How they doing it?
Basically yeah, if you want to mega-evolve a Venusaur, you have to farm energy by doing Venusaur raids. The amount of energy you get will vary depending on how fast you complete the raid (they are level 5 raids). The Venusaur you can catch from the raid has a chance at being shiny but also will be missing the CD move so it doesn't have much value. You'd have to do between 4-7 Venusaur raids to obtain enough energy to mega-evolve it and in addition to being stronger, would power up all pokemon that it raids with. However, the effect only lasts 4 hours and you'd have to farm up more energy to mega-evolve it again (it costs less to mega-evolve after the first time).
Overall the idea is cool but the implementation is terrible and should probably be avoided altogether unless the dex entry really means that much to you.
I care more about living Pokedex than regular sex and I also never really do raids unless I can solo them.
Edit; LOL autocorrect but too funny to change.
Heads up there's a box available, 3 remote raid passes for 1 coin. It's temporary for sure so make sure you grab it before it's gone. You can hold up to 5 remote raid passes total so you won't be able to buy the box unless you have 2 or fewer.
Pokémon Go is dropping support in October for Android 5, iOS 10, iOS 11, iPhone 5S, and iPhone 6 devices.
Just a heads up for anyone interested, looks like they have 3 remote raid passes for a single coin up in the shop again. Also I learned that you can't buy them if you already have 3 or more in your inventory. So I used one, dropped down to 2 and then bought 3 more and currently have 5 on hand![]()
If any of you guys follow the POGO YouTubers you might know Pkmn Master Holly. She is now selling “sexy” pics on her Patreon at the $2 tier. Do with that info as you will.
Took a long time, but I think I finally lost interest in the game. They needed to do something new with the game and Megas could have been that, but all it was was just more raids. Don't think even releasing the rest of this gen would help me.
Shiny rate was meh on charmander for me compared to the last community day porygon. Got 9 in total today. Best two where an 80 and an 82%.
I did manage to complete the team rocket/shadow egg special research. Have another shadow mewtwo a 2 star again and an elite charged tm. Not to mention the 3x catch stardust helped out.
Tasks will be available to players who are level 20 and above.
This is a straight FU to people who use GPS+Joystick mods lol
Also, they changed the game with the last update (on my Pixel phone anyway) to needing to have location permission on 100% of the time for adventure sync, where as before it could be set to only when I had the app open. And I have subsequently stopped playing PoGo for the time being ._.
Lv40 trainers can now transfer from Go to Home.
