HUGE info dump today. Level cap being increased to 50 but not by xp, have to do a variety of different things for each level. And a bunch more going on. Too much info dump today I think. Probably gonna overwhelm a lot of people.

Hopefully it’s enough to get me back in the game. Before the Electabuzz event I hadn’t logged on since the Porygon event. I had planned on just putting all my shinies and legendaries on Home and be done with it. Albeit very slowly given the ridiculous charge time they put on it.

Either I got a weirdly hacked Pokémon from wonder trade or transferring Pokémon from Go to Bank can leave you with Evolved Pokémon at levels they shouldn’t be able to be (level 25 Venusaur)

Level carries directly from Go to Home/SwSh. You could send a level 1 Venusaur over if you wanted.

What exactly is a level in Pokémon Go?

The amount of stardust it takes to level up a Pokemon. 200 dust to power up is level 1. 400 dust is level 2. Etc. All the way up to 15k dust at level 40.

Got excited because I thought “more poke balls” meant different types.
No, I don’t need more basic ass poke balls. Maybe I’m the only one with this problem, but it seems everyday I’m having to throw dozens of pokeballs away cause I don’t have the inventory.

Me and my 500 inventory spaces suddenly feel very inadequate.


Stuck on the catch a froakie quest. Haven’t even seen a hint of one yet. The other 2 starters are pretty common for me.

Inventory and Pokémon storage is absolutely one of the first things you need to spend coins on if you wanna play the game at any serious level.

It’s the only thing I put coins into. I just don’t play the game “at a serious level” lol

Edit: I’ve probably spent some on some boxes here in there, actually.

500 inventory, 950 Pokémon I typically upgrade one of the other depending on which I need more of. I’m good at inventory management so that’s not typically an issue most of the time.

Recently moved from a place with 3 stops outside to a place with zero. My pampered life of poke balls and other items on tap have come to an end, looks like I’ll have to ‘Go’ more lol
