    Entertaining episode, but I don't really know its purpose beyond moving Mando closer to his end goal.

    Sometimes I think the Mandalorian is too similar to Clone Wars/ Rebels. Some really great story-progressing episodes, followed with entertaining, but pointless fillers...

    I was so mad when he left it with the Frog people. Like, he's already eaten a bunch of their young when the mom wasn't around, you're going to come back and they'll have killed him for eating one in front of them.

    Yep. Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica fame. The other Mandalorian woman with her was played by Snoop Dogg's cousin - WWE superstar Sasha Banks (credited as Mercedes Veranado).

    And yeah, I too was convinced that leaving the child with them would end in disaster.

    Firstly, Baby Yoda making toddler noises is cute as fuck. But doesn't hide the fact that it's a greedy fucker who eats what it wants when it wants without any remorse.

    A friend of mine who's caught up with Clone Wars and Rebels and etc explained all the lore behind Bo-katan and the Darksaber and it's importance and how there are different sects to the Mandalorians and how the Mando who's the main character was essentially picked up and 'educated' by the crazy religious group of Mandalorians, so now that I'm better versed in all that, all this shit is waaaaay more compelling to me.

    Can anyone explain what sort of research or cloning or etc was happening this episode? Did we get a good enough look in the tank to have a 'oh shit' moment? Also, what was the deal with the soldiers that Gideon was overseeing the preparations for???

    I'm taking a guess here, I haven't looked into at all, but since this is taking place after the original trilogy and before the new one, I'm assuming it has something to do with either Palpatine or Snoke. I paused it on the tanks and one of them looked like it had a split going down its head, kinda similar to Snoke. Which were something like failed Palpatine clones? I don't remember that much as the movie was shit and purged most of it. I'm guessing they're tracking Mando to find Ahsoka Tano to use her blood to try and get another sample? The mass amount of suits at the end looked similar to Vader suits, so maybe they're trying to clone him? I don't know. But those are my best guesses
