Symphonia is on Steam now I think. Personally, hasn't really aged well, and I'd put it behind Vesperia and Berseria. but if you like Tales games its probably worth playing.

Oh I thought Matthew from Golden Sun as top 5 not Lloyd. While I see Golden Sun having a better chance, really I'd be fine either if not both.

I kind of view them as equal, tbh. Golden Sun is a hibernating 2nd party franchise that's essentially dead, but Symphonia was the first AAA 3rd party JRPG get for the gamecube.

Both movesets, between Lloyd and Isaac/Matthew would be unique and interesting for Smash though - which to me is why there is such interest in them outside of their franchise pull.

I think it aged quite well. I played it for the first time about 1.5-2 years ago, and it was really fun. Gameplay was good, character interactions were great. Story was decent. Graphically, it's decent too. Has a unique art style which helps.
