Sakurai commented on Rex in the direct. If I recall he said all of the characters (presumably also DLC) had been chosen early on and he didn't make the cut this time.

Unsure if that means he's completely out until the next game or not, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I have the adapter from my Wii U and 4 GC controllers, I know hardcore Smash fans love it, but yeah Pro is probably all you need.

I tried getting it when the Wii U release came out but IIRC they sold out fast and never came back in stock unless you wanted to buy at a spiked price from a 3rd party/individual.

I've gone through 3 or 4 Gamecube controllers over the course of Smash 4's lifespan. I tried adjusting to the Wii U pro controller at launch and just could not make it feel right.

The Gamecube controller is just so comfortable and intuitive for Smash. I'll try again with the Switch Pro, because it is better than the Wii U Pro, but I still don't see myself switching over.

Apparently Nintendo decided the dlc chars, not sakurai, so rip Geno.

Also, since they said they already chose all the dlc characters... What the fuck is their reasoning for not divulging that information for people buying the pass??????
