So a few things caught in the datamine. Spoilers just in case...

Geno, Mallow, and Cloud are all Spirits. Interestingly, they are the ONLY Square Enix spirits.

Geno, Protoman, Lloyd, Megaman X, etc have all lost their Mii costumes.

Rare properties like Jet Force Gemini are in the game as spirits.

30 empty "slots" for characters were found. Unknown if each DLC (character, music, stage) is one slot or three. Potentially looking at 2 rounds of dlc, but keep in mind Smash 4 had 20 empty slots.

No new SE or Final Fantasy music was added along with Geno and Mallow.

- Square Enix only provides a total of 4 spirits (Mario RPG) and 2 soundtracks in the whole game (out of 800+ songs not counting the various misc. themes.)

And people really were holding out hope for certain fighters despite this company's recent history on..."weird" decisions.

Wait is it that easy to do that? Wouldn’t you get in trouble for “breaking street date” even tho you technically didn’t? I guess keeping your switch offline would work.

Also, fyi on fastest way of unlocking characters, apparently the game has a built in 10 minute timer and unlocks a character to fight everytime it hits 0 while playing. But it seems like the game has a “daily” function where the timer starts at 0 if you close the game and reboot it (kinda like getting a free daily in a gacha game, but it’s per restart), which would cut the unlocking all characters from 10 hours to 2 hours. Something to keep in mind tho, this is from the leaked version of the game which is prior to day 1 patch, so we are not totally sure the day 1 patch will change this.

Some people got physical copies early and apparently the day one patch didn't fix the Z Drop during hitstun glitch, so be careful trying to throw characters holding items, especially Toon or Young link, also seen some videos of Diddy tossing out Banana Peels and it working out as well as the Link Bombs :O
