I'll believe Erdrick when I see it; that's a dream come true.
unrelated: Funky Kong is a dick lol

Was never any good at fighting games but since they seemingly nerfed Pikachu's thunder, I swapped characters. So is Bowser just really good or did I get better? Just wrecking everyone with him.
Esam put on a damn good show. Those two were downright impressive. Glad they're both enjoying the game with their old mains. It felt like Konga just didn't have a chance after I saw Esam and MVD's first match that sent Esam to losers. Both of them are nutty for how new it all is still. Genesis is going to be hype af.
I went online for some quickplay matches as Dark Samus. In one of the matches I played against a Little Mac and fighting him was terrible. It felt like every blow I dealt to him was a trade where he came out on top due to super armor and I go flying lol.
Little Mac has a lot of super armor moves when he's on the ground, just get him in the air and he's fucked.
Heavies in general got buffed due to mechanics changes, not just Bowser.
Adjusting to online play on battlefield type stages is kind of tough. I'll go to pull a bomb on Toon Link for a setup but then fall through the platform. Other times ill want to drop down and end up pulling a bomb instead. I also need to train myself on directional air dodging because its cost me a lot of stock going for DI to get back on stage and then i cant tether or Up B.
Maybe my GC controller is just spent, because ive also had issues in sending out a boomerand diagonally and end up using spin attack. Smash 4's online play counter was in the 15,000 range and I have had the controller since launch. Can you tune and clean them up internally to restore sensitivity?
Replicated this glitch with a bunch of pongs... and then Knuckles knowing de wae.
Opening up a lobby for a bit if anyone is down to join!
So normally just for laughs I do a grab with Bowser and take the person with me off the stage and we both die. I did one a few matches ago and it took two lives from me instead of one, whats the deal with that?
The game thinks you're a horrible human being and is punishing you accordingly.
I know they changed Ganoncide to function like the others, even though I was okay with it staying in since it took a fair amount of skill to get it to go off.
First i've heard of Bowsercide not acting like it did in Smash 4. Maybe a bug where Bowser took damage as the grab happened (and thus crediting a kill to the player who caused the damage) and the upon death the damage stock credit and the Bowsercide credit happened at the same time?
Yeah it feels like its something like that, it has only happened to me twice but I remember thinking how the hell did I run out of stock so quick. It's fun though when you destroy everyone and have 3/3 stock and take someone out at 0% with only 1 left lol.
It may actually be a setting of some kind (although I havent actually looked for it) that takes 2 lives per suicide. I once accidently killed myself near the beginning of a match and lost 2 stocks because of it.
Gonna start an arena when i get home from work, so will be in about an hour if anyone’s down to get some matches in.
