Depends on which difficulty you did original run. You gain a 15-20k SP bonus (forgot how much), you retain everything (like most new game pluses), your retain all activities unlocked from the get go and you can regain every spirit from the first run, so if you're serious about spirit collecting and you need specific cores, that's a good way of doing it if they don't pop up on spirit board.

So I'm seeing some units (Yoshi, DK) be able to fall through floors using Dair or down special but Toon Links cant seem to. Am I doing it wrong? It's really costing me some matches.

Seems to be character dependent. Yoshi's down Special I know you can choose whether to go through platforms or not by holding down to pass through them. Not sure if other characters work the same.

That was my worry. Really gives some units a big advantage on battlefield stages, but it would be broken on units like Tink who have very fast Dairs.
