Her Nair and Bair are the same slingshot as villager, so can use it for zoning, knock people off stage and either try to keep them away with the slingshot or if possible chase them off stage and try to fishing rod them further away, especially if they don’t have great recovery options.

Her Gynoid traps are decent but honestly too easy to avoid, her recovery is good and item pocket is super situational but can be useful.

They do it on purpose. This is the company that released a 3DS without a fucking charger. Sold separately. They know exactly what they're doing.

Ah I see..yeah should have specified because that was confusing when I never had to buy a charger separately in the 7 years I had my 3ds haha, since most people I know (including myself) got the 3DS on launch where the argument of very little to no games is true aside the ambassador program (still feels odd having GBA games on my 3DS when no other version had it.) I always thought the claim were the charger was faulty or something.

Considering a few fighters seem to be built around a similar system, I wonder if Joker would kinda build around the arts system shulk uses in a way for Personas or if they'd go all in to incorporate his main.

Rumor is final smash will be an All out attack and if it’s the final kill, a special win pose screen like in P5 when you kill the last enemy.

First off I wrote Nair and Bair for slingshot, it’s Fair and Bair, my bad.

Honestly have to get a bit close to knock them off, unless you get really good at doing her dash attack and hitting them with the flower pot, it’s nice actually if you’re above them on a platform the pot can actually travel a good distance, but I like to get up in peoples face, approach with Short hop Fairs and then act accordingly to what they try to do, her Nair is great cause it hits almost 360 degrees around her, I like to play her as a more aerial fighter but I’ve seen others stay more grounded and be goddamned wizards with the fishing rods.

Some parameters for Joker and Piranha Plant have been datamined. Plant has been in the files since release, Joker was added in the first update.

Plant: 1.72 speed, 112 weight, cannot wall jump.
Joker: 2.21 speed, 89 weight, can wall jump.

There is a 3rd fighter tagged as "Brave" in the files with 1.74 speed, 101 weight, and can wall jump. I've read that in Japan with relation to the Dragon Quest series, 'Hero' and 'Brave' share the same romanji of 'Yusha'.

For comparison:
Sonic is at 3.85 speed
Incineroar is at 1.18 speed.
2nd fastest C.Falcon is 2.52 speed.

Pichu is 62 weight
Bowser is 135


Aside, does anyone have issues staying in "Elite Smash" and has the input lag gotten any better for anyone? I am having a terrible time navigating Battlefield platforms with Toon Link with how his speed functions and stops after actions. Palutena is moving so much more smoothly for me.

Also, frak trying to approach Ice Climbers as Tink. Talk about hell on earth. It has more to do with how Toon Link's boomerang functions with relation to reflects and other projectiles. I'm having to mentally train myself that for some reason it maintains an active hitbox on reflect and doesn't function as it did in Smash 4.

Anyway for speculation on Erdrick. Do the DQ games take place in the same universe or is it random? Curious how often Erdrick is referenced in later games.

He isn't really referenced in the later games except as a series trope (i.e. Erdrick's Sword, etc.) however the first three games all revolve around his legacy, and he is the same person in each game (unlike, say, Cid in Final Fantasy). he's also obviously in DQ Builders since it takes place in the Alefgard world and probably some of the other spin-offs too.

I believe 1-3 and 11 all take place in the same world. I think the rest are not.

Thanks. But yeah even without Erdrick I'm fairly certain there is a SE rep in the pipes. Maybe I'm looking into it too much but one thing I find odd is Cloud is the only fighter in the game with no spirits associated with the franchise. That just seems really strange to me.
