I wouldn’t mind Tracer, but the moveset from a competitive standpoint would be quite bothersome. Unless they limit her like they do with Banjo side+b

She could end up being what Bayonetta became in smash 4, pretty sure no one wants that.

Im kind of split on how Sakurai/Nintendo will want the next DLC fighters to happen.

I feel like there is huge benefit for Nintendo in doing a 1st party oriented selection, getting 3-5 series updated with representation. Byleth, Edelgard, Rex/Pyra, and Porky top the list IMHO.

There are a few 3rd party entries that would make sense and be great additions, but that list is dwindling pretty quick. Tails/Eggman, a Tales Of rep, Geno, etc. The problem with this approach is that the list may be spent by the 3rd reveal, leaving little hype for the last fighters if Sakurai keeps to his admission guidelines.

Im wagering that after the 5th reveal, Rex/Pyra will be a bonus character for free like Pirahna Plant was and then we will roll into DLC Set #2 come Xmas.

Reyn would be a pretty meme addition IMHO by himself. If they opt not to do a fighters pass for 5 fights, but 1st party themed additions in groups of 2-3, then I can see Reyn being included alongside Rex/Pyra and Elma. But with Sakurai's previous comments about dev time per character, im not sure how feasible that would be.

I just don’t remember where i read it, but i did read that fighter pass 1 was going to be all guest characters, non-nintendo. And so far it’s been true.
