Are we still in times where console wars are a thing? It's almost like people have different taste in games and can like one conference more than another because it has games they like in it.

It's one thing to like something cause it includes games that you like, that's whatever. It's another thing to unabashedly shit on one company then turn around and praise another for doing the exact same thing. It's so ridiculously transparent that it's hilarious to me. I have no stock in Nintendo or Sony but the social commentary on this shit is quite a sight to behold.

Everyone was trash tier this year. Bethesda at least had a lineup that is going to make them a hell of a lot of money, over the next 5 years. So I guess I have to let them win, even if I don't care much for their games. Also, Capcom did well with RE2 and DMC5.

Not even a Bayonetta 3 release date, but hey, let's pretend to give a shit about Super Smash totally not Melee while the Switch collects dust.

I'm interested in that first game Nintendo showed, would've popped a boner if there was a Xenoblade X collaboration mech, given all the X's shown.

Of the stuff they featured, I think Sony and Nintendo are both putting out one exclusive in the next six months that has me excited.. pretty disappointing PCs from them both :/

Capcom and SE are the only ones that win to me cause they had games I'm basically going to Day 1. I don't honestly care about Bethesda's games but they did announce games people will want to play in the future but aside from Fallout, their bigger draws won't even be released for a long time (possibly not even this gen).

Console wars have always been stupid, ever since SNES vs Genesis or PS2 vs Xbox, people just want to justify their purchase while anyone with a real job likely has more than 1 gaming thing so the real question is where the fuck are the games?

That said, the stuff I saw looked good for the most part. Unless there's an actual hardware announcement or service things I just want a constant stream of games and footage.

A $1,200 PC is already doing what next gen consoles will strive to do at a $400 price point. Couple the fact that 4k is going to hamstring any real upgrade to graphical fidelity.

The only new console i'm even remotely hype for is a Switch refresh.

Wasn't expecting much beyond smash but still disappointed with the E3 direct. FE is cool be we knew about that, xenoblade 2 DLC too. Literally nothing else interesting to me. 0 3DS games? yeah, they're definitely still "supporting" it. Really don't think I care about pokemon go pikaeevee. Wouldn't expect animal crossing anytime soon, they seem like they want to ride the pocket camp train for a while. Tales of Vesperia is the only thing on switch I wasn't expecting and also care about out of E3.

This^ The next Elder Scrolls will be on the next-gen systems. There may be a ghetto version for current gen, but it won't release until after PS5.

Finally saw all conferences.

Xbox won this year for the amount of 3rd party, but Sony had the 1st party content I wanted and RE2 trailer was my highlight for all E3.

Nintendo was garbage as I don't play Pokemon/Mario Party/Smash(I don't play fighting games anymore).

C+ E3 overall for me. I got DMC5, DOOM, Ghost of Tsukishima looking better than i expected, that new PS game i forget the name of that's basically a new Psi-OPs, and Ori. Good enough for me, I'll be busy for a while.

Yeah C+ E3. Microsoft was probably the best confrence but it was literally a Microsoft + Squeenix conference.

Right now I think E3 is showing its age in an era where you can drop an hour long conference whenever you want (lookin' at you Nintendo) and it doesn't help that other companies did showcases for new games not that long ago.

Here's to hoping that the floor is packed with interesting titles they didn't show.

I watched the EA conference from the comfort of my home and smart TV. Fell asleep after CnC Rivals. Pretty much sums up my experience this year. I've pretty much tuned out of console gaming, though. Excited for TLoU2, that's it.
