Any other year, I think Derick Rodriguez would be considered a front runner, but not with Acuna and Soto. Dude is going to be a distant third between those two.
Acuna hit first pitch of the game. What a piece of shit that dude was.. got thrown out, I bet his ass gets suspended too. What a crock of shit.

Its okay to bean players with 98 mph fastballs because they're on a hot streak.
"I mean, he's good a baseball. Sometimes you just have to kill somebody to win the game. That's baseball."
At least his HR streak will stay intact because his only plate appearance was a HBP.
Edit: Also, can you guess who one of the players tied for the home run streak is? Marlins manager Don Mattingly.
Soooooo, start folding up them tin foil hats:
X-rays negative, Acuña day to day. Thank god.

It counts as plate appearance since the result is HBP = become a runner at 1st base. It isn't an AB, which a HBP is recorded like a sac play, walk, etc.
But rules say that the streak is alive per MLB rules that his only plate appearance was HBP.
Yeah. Last time I remember this rule coming up is when Derek Jeter had a long hit streak going then went 0-0 with a bunch of walks and a sac bunt. IIRC the streak continued since a sac bunt is "intentional" whereas if he had gone 0-0 including a sac fly, the streak would've been over.

Mets are up 24-4 on the phillies. What's even more remarkable is that 11 of those runs are unearned.
Urena got six games. Somehow Puig the butch only got two.
So, in reality, its a one game suspension.
The real punishment would have been making Urena start the next five games.
Pitcher suspensions continue to be a joke
