Oh man I want this rumor to be true: the fbi raid was about possible docs that lead to another hush money payout to cover up an illegitimate child.

Too good to be true. But also highly plausible considering we're in hellworld. But then thisA few weeks earlier, Sajudin had signed a contract with A.M.I., agreeing to become a source and to accept thirty thousand dollars for exclusive rights to information he had been told: that Donald Trump, who had launched his Presidential campaign five months earlier, may have fathered a child with a former employee in the late nineteen-eighties. Sajudin declined to comment for this story. However, six current and former A.M.I. employees, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they feared legal retaliation by the company, said that Sajudin had told A.M.I. the names of the alleged mistress and child.
The New Yorker has uncovered no evidence that Trump fathered the child.
He's probably displaying another narcissistic trait of saying he'll do something, and then change his mind at the last minute, thus intentionally disappointing those who truly took his word for it.
Edit: Well called it. Sorta.
What do you guys think the odds are that Mueller finishes out the week?
I'm betting Trump massacres the justice department on Friday.
He's not gonna fire Mueller. He's gonna fire Rosenstein and then put someone in that'll severely limit and/or cripple the investigation without firing Mueller. That way he doesn't have the blowback of firing the special counsel but still limits it's scope.
Are Sessions and Rosenstein scheduled for any trips soon?
Also, firing Rosenstein is essentially the same as firing Mueller at this point. Touching Rosenstein or Sessions before this gets resolved destroys the rest of this year politically.
I think firing Mueller is such an earworm for him at this point that he won't accept half measures.
Is it 48 hours yet? Did Trump decide whether Assad crossed a red line or not?

Trump wants to re-join the TPP.
O no the swamp got 'im
I'm sure donald will spin this as 'The deal is finally in our favor' and AG will happily announce 'omg i love donald he's doing everything right for once'
Too fucking good.
While the TPP's execution may have left much to be desired in terms of how much sovereignty the average citizen would lose to corporations, the intent was always to make the U.S., rather than China, the dominant economic and cultural entity in the east. Our failure to enter into it and Chain's subsequent immediate assumption of that leadership role played a non-zero factor in the confidence of the Communist party to restore the dictatorship and clamp down on dissidents. China only changes if it benefits China; once the United States missed an opportunity to check their global momentum they were quick to abandon any perceived progress they projected toward a more free society.
