Certainly more street cred.
Certainly more street cred.
Michael Cohen's unorthodox all-cash real estate transactions are coming under greater scrutiny, and it doesn't look like they will withstand it.

Trump is considering putting Giuliani on ice to stop him from doing TV interviews.
I can't wait for this to quickly unravel a large part of the real estate market in New York.
Love me a lean market. You guys have no idea how deep this rabbit hole goes.

Sessions reaffirms his zero tolerance for Mexico border crossings.
If you cross this border unlawfully, then we will prosecute you. It's that simple.
If you smuggle illegal aliens across our border, then we will prosecute you. If you are smuggling a child, then we will prosecute you and that child will be separated from you as required by law. If you don't like that, then don't smuggle children over our border.
Yeah, the summary reason why no one has prosecuted this kind of obvious money laundering before is that it would tank NYC's economy and would have a significant impact on the value of the dollar.
It wouldn't tank the NYC economy. It would topple the city/state government though.
No.
If Mueller's investigation exposes the money laundering that goes on in NY I will write his name in for the next election.
I would assume players like Cohen would sooner get thrown under the bus by their peers than to allow some of the shady shit in NYC to come to light. The money laundering bit with buildings feels like it’s been an open secret for as long as I can remember. I forget which skyscraper it was when I was a kid that was built, but didn’t have it’s first tenants until like five years later.
Yep. It's usually just overseas money so there's really no laws being broken as long as they pay US taxes.
BBC live blog about the Iran deal - http://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-us-canada-44032008
Russia reps are in Iran and US senators are revealing the deal is off.
(except for international money laundering agreements.)
Listen those are unenforceable and NYC needs its tax base fam.
I thought he couldn't do something more idiotic and pointless than withdrawing from the Paris accord, but here we are. So is he going to try to reinstall sanctions or what? Love that we have to hope that Rouhani is more sensible than our current president.
Trump is the king of deals. And the best deal, is no deal.
.The details of what the Trump administration is doing
According to congressional aides, Mr. Trump will announce the U.S. will not renew sanctions waivers and will no longer participate in JCPOA, CBS News' Ed O'Keefe and Rebecca Kaplan report.
One sources tells CBS News that Senior administration officials have begun informing Congressional leaders of their intent to remove the U.S from the JCPOA and reimpose sanctions.
Another source signaled that there would be a 90 day and 180 day wind downs on various aspects of the Iran deal.
