Forgive my ignorance here, but even if the US imposes sanctions on Iran, if the UK (who are supposedly Iran's biggest trading partner), China and Russia are all still supporting them and keeping with the original deal, will US sanctions really matter other then adding to the already large political rift that pulling out of the deal has created? I'm not an expert on sanctions at all, so one of you knowledgeable people please inform me m(_ _)m

This is the problem for EU countries wanting to stay in the deal - most companies would gladly forfeit doing business with Iran in order to remain in the United States marketplace.

It's certainly an international trade problem however.
