It's the easy bet, but I don't think any of us can predict what Mueller will do, and I think there are legitimate arguments supporting an indictment of Trump. Keep in mind he's got basically some of the best legal minds on his team. If there's a legal path to indicting Trump, they'll do it and make a convincing argument as to why they can do it.

Mueller can't indict Trump unless he wants to create a constitutional crisis and go against DOJ guidelines that have been followed since Nixon. I don't think there is any explicit law stating you can't indict a sitting president but there certainly is a lot of other mechanisms in the way of that happening. Read the CNN article it has some detailed information in it about how it works and why impeachment is the only likely path to take if criminal activity is found.

The only way I see it is if Trump massacres Rosenstein and/or Sessions and the person taking over the oversight of Mueller is a clear toady who couldn't be trusted to take obvious crimes to the House for an impeachment recommendation.
