I actually loved that they got it out of the way so fast. Hulk got straight fucking Muai Thai'd in the jaw. Loki "We have the hulk" -> 20 seconds later, hulks gone for the movie.

My wife read a theory I think on reddit about how everyone who "died" actually got ported to a new/parallel universe as the gauntlet's way of translating Thanos' actual wish/desire to balance/ensure resources are available for the universe (hence why people didn't just fall over dead?). Strange ensured Tony lived because in that one winning scenario, Tony's tech was going to be needed to bring everyone back together. There was also something with Ant Man/Quantum Universe stuff I think. I'll have to ask her to find the theory/post tonight again but not sure how much sense it actually makes? I was half asleep when she was reading it to me as we got home about 2am last night from a late showing and I don't know enough about the MCU or comics to know if it was a troll post or not.
