Moon/meteor part and the one on one Thanos/Iron Man part (was it the same scene?) were my favorites of the movie by far. While all the fights in the movie were good, that Iron Man part was so fucking cool.

The fights in this movie were sooooooooooo fucking good. Thanos fucking krav maga, Muay Thai-ing the fuck out of Hulk was awesome. The fact that there wasn't any like "FLY ACROSS HALF THE MAP PUNCH" shit was awesome. I mean people fucking HIT the ground, HARD.

No one has mentioned it but it was interesting seeing how Tony's tech did vs Starlord and the Guardians. I actually give a slight edge to the Guardians even thought the fight was pretty much equal.

The Thanos fight on Titan was awesome.

In the comics Thanos defeats all of Earth's heroes using only the Power Gem. He then goes full force against another team of cosmic beings including Galactus and defeats all of them as well.

One of the theories I've seen being tossed around, based on Thanos line to Stark "You aren't the only one cursed with knowledge." is that Thanos is trying to wipe out half the universe to prevent Galactus from returning and eating the entire universe. Avengers 4 will end with Thanos being defeated but revealed he was actually trying to save everyone after all. And then Galactus is set up as the big bad going forward.

I mean that they wouldn't plan on that without fully owning the rights to Galactus/Silver Surfer.

I would LOVE for that to be the continuing story but the reality is that they have planned VERY far forward and wouldn't do that without accounting for the possible blocking of the merger. Disney isn't gonna take that risk.

Thing is none of this would fly with the fans IMO. And I don't think Disney would go that ay.

I don't think you even need to do Galactus as a new big bad, though it would be cool especially if they changed how he looks. I can just imagine a cinema full of people laughing at his helmet and face.

Beyonder, One Above All, Eternity/Infinity, Living Tribunal etc are all end game characters you can use eventually, though at that point I think it'd be kinda silly to watch. Galactus probably has the best kind of power that's extreme but in a slightly more straight forward way. For comics I mean, but I probably don't remember half of the stuff I should about these characters.
