My wife on the other hand? Damn, it hit her hard. Like she was shocked. I couldn't stop talking about how awesome it was on the way home and she was just quiet. The mix of dramatic deaths throughout the movie and then the 'snap' at the end... she says she doesn't like the movie. Heh, it's actually a cool thing to observe. To her its like "what's wrong with this movie?! too many people die!"

Same way my friend reacted. She's only watched a handful of these movies, and doesn't read comics. She just sat there like "what the fuck?!" when the credits rolled. I heard kids crying and sniffles from the crowd after Spidey died lol. From my second viewing, BTW. Reactions from first was dead silence.

Theater was dead silent for us too. Kudos to the Russo brothers for not only topping Joss "we done" but doing more with more people.

First time I saw it, everyone was dead quiet until the end credits, except for one single person who started to clap- and quickly stop after about the third one. It was the same guy a few seats down from me who also kept saying "That's hilarious!" After nearly every joke.

2nd time was nearly just as quiet minus a the woman right next to me saying "what's going on?" and "I don't understand." I had had to ask her and her significant other to be quiet after the first minute of the movie because they both wouldn't shut up- which thankfully they did for the majority of the film after. Her boyfriend was also one of those douchebags who take of their shoes and socks and recline their bare feet up in the air.

Was he wearing sandals? Cause if I'm wearing sandals they come off less they just fall off my feet when I recline. Then they land upside down on that sticky floor and I don't notice for 2 hours and suddenly I'm a sad panda.

Plus I wash my feet and trim my nails. So that helps.

People at my theater were also quiet during credits, and made wtf faces during the end credits scene. My wife and daughter instantly looked at me for answers, and I went "Captain Marvel!", which not only didn't help, but made them even more confused, so I semi-shouted "Carol Danvers!!!".

Got some odd looks from people around us.
