I'd like to think so but who knows. The year after the trade, WSH missed the playoffs and Oates and GMGM were out for it. Based on Oates awful usage of Kuzy that year, I assume Forsberg would have also been wasted, so maybe the Caps still miss out and we get Trotz/GMBM/Niskanen/Orpik in the off-season. Then both Kuzy and Forsberg blew up that year, so who knows if we pick up Oshie/JWill that next off-season but this team could have been even more stacked..

I don't hate the Jets or anything but I want to see NSH win so Forsberg can knock GMGM and Vegas out and then my dream would be to see the Caps win the Cup against them. The story line would be amazing.
