The article mentioned nothing of moving opposing fans out of camera view. The jersey policy is very loosely enforced (I was in the Chase Club and private boxes and never once saw anyone forced to move nor coverup their Chicago jersey).

The area code restriction was (probably still is) in effect to allow Florida residents to fill the seats regardless of who you support (obviously this also allows far more Tampa fans as opposed to visitors).

Either way, I think it's pretty stupid but I can somewhat understand why they do it.

An AHL game last night between Lehigh Valley and Charlotte went to 86:48 of OT. One of the goalies came 4 saves short of the AHL records with 94 saves!! Game ended 2-1

Thornton finally admitted today that he completely tore the MCL and ACL in his knee back in January.

I love Thornton, but having fully torn my ACL/MCL/LCL in 2003, I'm skeptical they were completely torn. I had to have emergency surgery the next day with cadaver ligament replacements and titanium pins for all three.

My ACL/MCL/PCL were completely torn in 2012 when I got hit by a drunk driver and pinned to a traffic light pole. The girl I was with at the time said my knee looked like the remnants of an IED after the surgery.

Well to be fair, Hockey players are absurdly tough. 4 months of no skating followed by a shit ton of pain killers/blockers I can see someone as insane as Thornton trying to play at that point.

Definitely tougher than me. Just hard to imagine being active at that level after an injury like that. I've powered through some dumb shit (broke my femur on my dirt bike, rode it home anyway) but that knee injury took me over a year to rehab to the point where I didn't feel like I needed the railing to go up and down stairs.

I'm surprised the other owners havent made a stink about this considering the Bolts quite possibly rely on(or atleast, lean on) on revenue sharing.

I have heard of it but haven't seen it enforced in any capacity. I think it's pretty dumb and they shouldn't care (Amalie Arena) considering it's only a couple hundred seats. It really does not affect the game nor the fan/viewing experience whatsoever so why bother with it to begin with?
