It's even the government leaders. Couple years ago we implemented a change that county email on phones had to go through the Outlook app instead of using the generic apple/Google mail app so that way if an account got compromised, we could just nuke outlook remotely instead of the entire phone.

One member of the board of supervisors nearly torpedoed the whole change cause how dare we tell him how he can access his work email.

Yeah... reporting in from the private sector: we are on track to halve our AWS spend this month by implementing a plan I can eup with 6 months ago that took less than a week to execute and will be noticeable to zero customers.
