I used the basic reddit app and had no problems. Just had to turn off the recommended feeds in my settings and I had exactly what I needed. I dont know what the other apps did to benefit my experience but I'm open ears.

Most of the other apps are more visually focused on being a forum experience, whereas the main app puts priority more on the media with the giant videos you can't scroll off the screen
When Elon announced he was charging for for API, I thought it was stupid because no one else does it and that's not really part of the business model. I assumed he was doing dumb business decisions like getting evicted out of his offices and the like. Yet other companies followed him. Is Twitter actually making money on API? I'm kinda puzzled why they're risking this for unknown returns.
Because they're honestly not risking shit. Whatever money they may lose in users getting mad and fucking off will be recovered in forcing everyone into the official app and exposing them to the sponsored posts and more data harvesting. They weren't making any money off of most of the third party app users anyways

With the Discord name change, DM's between users on their friendlist are being sent to the wrong recipient.
Twitter evicted in Boulder, CO.
It won't be the last time either, they're not paying rent at multiple locations.
Wut
you heard the man, identifying as straight is a slur, happy pride month
it happened quickly and with much ease
at first there was critique or pushback in replies and now it's almost entirely praise
Trans people: "My pronouns are -insert pronouns- and refusing to call me by my chosen pronouns makes you a transphobic bigot"
This guy: "stop calling me cis"
Trans people: "FUCK YOU, you're cis, you cissy, were gonna call you what we want to call you"
Of course you guys dont see the hypocrisy. (Elon's post is another thing all together)
Care to elaborate why? This is a very far cry from "why cant I say the n word", unless you're implying that respecting pronouns is explicitly a trans thing. However, if thats your logic, then respecting pronouns should be exclusive within the trans community, similarly to how usage of the n word is exclusive within the black community, and as a non-trans I should not be using their made up pronouns, since thats "n word" territory.
So all bullshit aside with your strawman "n word" garbage:
Why should people who cry and demand "respect my pronouns or your a transphobic bigot" be allowed to openly shit on and ignore the pronoun desires of others? Its straight up hypocrisy. They want respect, then disrespect others. You dont get a carte-blanche because its June.
It would help if you actually saw them as what they say they are, and didn't just believe they were changing their pronoun all willy nilly

Pronouns aren't the comparison to cis. Pronouns are pronouns, everyone has them. Cis is a word prefix used the exact same way as trans (transport, transcription, transgender, etc.). If you're not transgender, you're cisgender, so if you're going around telling people not to call you cis, you are logically saying you're trans. Which doesn't really make sense for a bunch of transphobes to say, but here we are, apparently.
I didn't say it was the same thing. I said it had the same energy. Basically not understanding the nuance that goes into something and just demanding WHY ISN'T EVERYTHING THE SAME.
Anyway, cis is not a pronoun so your whole point is dumb as fuck anyway. It's like getting mad because someone called you straight (which I assume you are).
