I've noticed twitter is actually unblocking accounts I know I have (mainly recognizable megacorp shit). So while suspensions wouldn't surprise me, they have that in their toolkit, too.

I did this on FB, just going on a blocking spree on ads for several days. My account wasn’t suspended but it was shadow banned. Several days and nobody saw my posts unless they were subscribed to me.

there was a time when (through my own stupidity) a prank on my brother backfired and I gaslit myself into thinking that people hated me because no one interacted with my shit any more. I had made a post that was set to be visible only to him and posted an embarrassing story and tagged him in it and he got all riled up before I told him it was only visible to him. then like 6 or more months later after I was seriously wondering why no one interacted with my posts any more I finally noticed it had saved that setting and so for over half a year I was only shitposting to my brother. womp womp

Looks like Twitter changed settings so you can't view tweets now without being logged in. It takes you to a log in screen instead. The previews still work when linking a tweet (for now).
