Everyone loves to shit on the company that has given me the best job I've ever had, but those same piss-bottle jobs that you deride here include free college tuition, industry leading wages, 401(k) match, and some of the very best healthcare I've ever seen.
Also they give back to the community and do it in a myriad of ways:

It also empowers small business to reach a scale of customers they wouldn't have available to them normally or in a traditional brick and mortar store:

Although I'm sure the company you work for or own gives back a far larger amount of money to their community. I'm also sure you don't empower them or their competition; you don't buy from Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target, or any of those dirty fortune 500 companies that have ever had an employee complaint. I'm sure you go down to the local corner mart to get your groceries and only buy from the locally owned hardware store or boutique.Last year alone, more than 100,000 sellers generated more than $100,000 each in sales.
