Surely we will judge him on whether or not he adds an Edit button after a decade+.

They'll be back, unless they happen to be porn artists who already got hit by recent unrelated changes that made sensitive material remain blocked for people that aren't logged in. All the art site alternatives are ass for general exposure I've come to learn.
All I'd ask of the new ownership is to remove the trends section. It is a complete cess-pool of 'people with opinions', and news sites linking you to pay-to-view articles.
Twitter refusing Musk's offer and creating one of the biggest corporate lawsuits in history would have been a much cooler and chaotic outcome
It's interesting cause he's also apparently adamant about banning and stopping spam bots en masse. It'd be one thing to allow a bunch of banned people back (like Trump), but how much of a difference will it make if those banned people don't have millions of spam bots pushing their bullshit

I have a hard time seeing how he'll make it any worse than it is now tbh. Twitter is and always has been a bubbling sewer of social waste.
Hmm. I'm not gonna die on the hill, but I feel like he'll end up buying it. If only to maintain his image. Might be a wild thought but I think he cares that much.
He’ll buy it and go back from her word when it starts to effect his bottom line.
Apple or Google can easily remove twitter from App Store, If he doesn’t follow the rules and guidelines

Musk's pitch to the banks constituted his vision rather than firm commitments, the sources said, and the exact cost cuts he will pursue once he owns Twitter remain unclear. The plan he outlined to banks was thin on detail, the sources added.
Musk He went ahead with the acquisition without having access to confidential details on the company's financial performance and headcount.
Musk told the banks he also plans to develop features to grow business revenue, including new ways to make money out of tweets that contain important information or go viral, the sources said.
Ideas he brought up included charging a fee when a third-party website wants to quote or embed a tweet from verified individuals or organizations.
In a tweet earlier this month he subsequently deleted, Musk suggested a raft of changes to the social media giant's Twitter Blue premium subscription service, including slashing its price, banning advertising and giving an option to pay in the cryptocurrency dogecoin. Twitter's premium Blue service now costs $2.99 a month.![]()
not sure if it belongs here or Trump thread but he apparently finally posted on Truth social lol

I never knew Musk hated medicine so much.
