Meta's COO Sheryl Sandberg is leaving the company after 14 years. Meta's chief growth officer Javier Olivan will replace her.

In his own post, Mr Zuckerberg said Ms Sandberg's departure marked the "end of an era", noting that it was "unusual" for a business partnership like theirs to last so long.
"Sheryl architected our ads business, hired great people, forged our management culture, and taught me how to run a company," he added. "She created opportunities for millions of people around the world, and she deserves the credit for so much of what Meta is today."
He said Mr Olivan's responsibilities would differ from Ms Sandberg's, with Mr Olivan taking on a "more traditional" chief operating officer role that was more focused internally and operationally.
Apparently she was under investigation by meta for using company resources to arrange her wedding. This, which likely contributed to her burnout that lead to her resignation.
She is a billionaire, I am not sure whether she’d really bother using company resources for wedding other than maybe stuff like organziation-related assistance.
Maybe paying for her own wedding would have caused her to fall out of the tres commas club
When you are that rich, you don't spend your own money. That is how you stay rich.
I mean she's also clearly covering shit up for them. Only recently it was shown that she SUPPRESSED STORIES OF DIRT ON HER BF ACTIVISION PREZ BOBBY KOTICK. All of Facebook is a fascist organization understand this. They have secret lists of influencers and groups that gets special treatment others have to follow and routinely refuse to enforce their own post policies about misinfo etc that gets enforced on leftists.

Elon found an excuse to get out of purchasing Twitter, "material breach."
If successful, it would significantly lower the $1B penalty for calling off the purchase. In an SEC filing released Monday morning, Musk's counsel said Twitter has not coughed up adequate data on the company's users, committing a "clear material breach" of the company's obligations as part of its merger agreement.
"Based on Twitter’s behavior to date, and the company’s latest correspondence in particular, Mr. Musk believes the company is actively resisting and thwarting his information rights (and the company’s corresponding obligations) under the merger agreement," the letter reads. "This is a clear material breach of Twitter’s obligations under the merger agreement and Mr. Musk reserves all rights resulting therefrom, including his right not to consummate the transaction and his right to terminate the merger agreement."
"Twitter has, in fact, refused to provide the information that Mr. Musk has repeatedly requested since May 9, 2022 to facilitate his evaluation of spam and fake accounts on the company’s platform," Monday's letter reads. "Twitter’s latest offer to simply provide additional details regarding the company’s own testing methodologies, whether through written materials or verbal explanations, is tantamount to refusing Mr. Musk’s data requests. Twitter’s effort to characterize it otherwise is merely an attempt to obfuscate and confuse the issue. Mr. Musk has made it clear that he does not believe the company’s lax testing methodologies are adequate so he must conduct his own analysis. The data he has requested is necessary to do so."
The letter later adds that if Twitter "is confident in its publicized spam estimates, Mr. Musk does not understand the company’s reluctance to allow Mr. Musk to independently evaluate those estimates."
Elon: Give me this data
Twitter: It is impossible to give that data with 100% accuracy, but here is our current figures using the tools we created to figure it out.
Elon: No, i need perfect data. I want access to your platform before buying it to create and manipulate the data myself. If not, YOU are the problem, not me.
The dude is full-on Karen at this point.
So do we figure this is pressure from Elon or just a desperate attempt to get anything other then guns into the news cycle?
If this forces Twitter to get bots under control idc if Elon actually buys them(?)
gotta be honest i'm almost certain I use twitter more than any of you and i do not experience bot-related issues
Then you either dont use Twitter as much as you think you do, or you're not as popular as you think you are.
Either way, there is a grave self-misconception on your part.
I only have 445 followers so I think I'm exactly 445-followers popular.
You guys need to understand that Elon is so much worse than a space-weirdo out-of-touch tech Karen. He is friends with Peter Thiel from the PayPal days and they are the ones majorly responsible for the libertarian crypto and NFT scams. He wants to destroy the things he attacks. He doesn't want to protect free speech, obviously, he wants right-wing fascism to control it and poison the truth so much that people give up and stop caring to discern the truth. They've already done it with Facebook. Twitter at least has a lot of prominent accounts breaking through their propaganda. Zuckerberg, Thiel, Musk, and Larry Ellison would be very happy to turn us all into disinterested cynics staring into VR helmets while titty influencers tell us to buy their fasc-cash powered monkey JPGs and the real world crumbles around us.

This group includes the so-called PayPal mafia—former PayPal founders and executives such as Musk, Peter Thiel, Reid Hoffman, Roelof Botha, Max Levchin. Along with them others who agree with Musk's strong anti-censorship beliefs, which they say run opposed to Twitter's current management style, also supported the takeover.
Musk's relationship with Dorsey was eviden ..
