Guarantee he already has someone lined up. He’s pulled this kind of stunt before where he puts out a poll long after his mind is already made up. I suspect the Tesla board is giving him a lot of heat especially after a major shareholder told him to stop using Tesla as his personal ATM to prop up twitter.

Looks like with every passing day, Musk is going to pull a GOP election count and deny the results of the poll. It's one of those things where if people said "NO" he would accept it, but saying "YES" causes him to question the results.
