Mario Maker 2 if you like Mario

Both Hyrule Warriors if you like Zelda or Musou games.

Starlink if you like Starfox, space fighers or ubisoft sandbox games. It goes on sale often.

The Messenger. I think it's on PC also but it's a great game if you like 2d side scrollers or ninjas.

BotW is the most overrated hawt garbage out there. Stay clear from it. A game by any other name would be bargain bin fodder.

The first Xenoblade is definitely a must have. The second one not so much, unless you love being bombarded with anime trope after anime trope for 60+ hours.

Haven’t opened Metroid Dread but it seems dope.

No More Heroes 3 is next on my to do playlist. The series is silly fun action.

also man looking at this page made me realize the Switch library is pretty damn weak. console is nearly four years old and this is all it has to show for it. the first party stuff they've done slaps, and Fire Emblem was a gem, but there's just so little of it.

Yeah, I had this same realization when I was going through my games collection/beaten app. I've never cared for the "portable" part either, so everything else not exclusive I have on PC

I do have other games on it like Mario Kart and the Zelda remasters, but that's not stuff I would really recommend.

Its always been weak, because its first party titles are never enough to carry an entire console when everyone else doesn't want to port to it since its involves such a massive effort downgrading a title so much to fit on it.

With some of the upcoming TRPGs coming out on PC alongside the switch, I have 0 interest in investing further in it outside of possibly getting the upcoming mario party.

No new Star Fox (with 0 Miyamoto bullshit gimmicks), no new F-Zero, no new Mario Kart... what am I supposed to be hype to play on it? Triangle Strategy?

The first Xenoblade is definitely a must have. The second one not so much, unless you love being bombarded with anime trope after anime trope for 60+ hours.

The gameplay is amazing, and the bulk of the main story is good (and some of the Blade quests are ok). But I've said elsewhere, there are a lot of moments where it seems obvious the director just really wants to do a harem anime.

I also can't get over how out of place Nopons feel in general. Like I know they are basically Chuchu equivalents but I feel like that's something they didn't need to bring forward.

No news on a new DK game, nothing on Prime 4, basically nothing on Zelda, Nothing new from Monolith Soft unless they are on BotW2 as well.

What I would hope is it meant Nintendo learned from their Bayo3/Prime4 announcement and to quit announcing shit 2+ years in advance, and instead just do the reveal after the game has gone gold basically. Honestly don't know wtf is taking BotW2 so long when it looks to be recycling a good chunk of the original game.

I agree with Zelda BoTW being hot garbage. I beat Ganon but had to force myself through it. Great big open world that is empty outside of repeated shrines here and there with a tiny different skin.

I would also recommend NEO: World Ends with You. Its a good RPG fun some fun combat.

In Prime 4's defense it did sound like the project was underway prior to the announcement but shit went south to the point they started from scratch with the original team.

What I can appreciate about all of the Xenoblade games is that they all do something a bit different from each other. Sure there are some misses along the way, but I've enjoyed my time with all of them. Admittedly, it took a while to get the ball rolling with 2, as well as X. . which I still need to finish.

Lol at the tweet, but also happy to see Stop Skeletons from Fighting get some attention. Decent YT channel that does videos on a lot of lesser explored stuff like the really weird peripherals on consoles and really bad/weird ports (like this lol)
