I don't think the texture is the problem. I think it's the texture lacks any transparency and fog to help give the illusion of a reflective look for that room.

Unless that was how it looked in the Japanese version.

Not sure if you already went out and got them, but a lot of the games recommended here are now on a huge sale on GameStop's site for Black Friday. Maybe in store too.

Games like Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition are $27 each. Some of the others as well like Fire Emblem.

I own two sets of joycons and for the last 2 years I’ve used my Switch more than any other gaming device I own. 0 problems so far.

Yet I am going through my 2nd ps4 controller (just 6 months old) w/ drifting problems. Games with sensitive stick controls like Uncharted, Doom are totally unplayable.

Can definitely be attributed to luck but yeah, Dual Shocks are far from problem-free I suppose.

i dunno but it's more like Sticker Star than The Thousand-Year Door so yeah we suppose it is

It's not as good at Thousand Year Door, but I would put it way above Sticker Star.

The consumable situation isn't as annoying as the last two(?) games and I remember it feeling like a step back towards the franchise's RPG roots. It doesn't go all the way back to full party members, but I imagine that's because of the battle system more than anything, and you do get temporary additions to the party. I remember not being the biggest fan of how the game handled progression, but it has been a while since I played it, so I can't remember the specifics there.

Also, if you enjoyed any of the other Paper Marios for the writing, that continues to be great.

Yeah, I honestly enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. The non-boss battles get old/repetitive after a while, but I quite enjoyed the boss battles, characters, story, and writing.
