They save on X4 onwards at least. Did remaps not save in the older 1-6 X collection in 1-3?

This sucks so much to hear considering i was really looking forward to collection 1 the most. I hope they patch it out, but this killed my hype for the game significantly.

To me while it's a bit noticeable I don't think it severely impacts casual enjoyment of 1-3.

edit: 3DS Pokemon games on the switch would be interesting, unless they are going to be whatever the new virtual console is and going older gen Pokemon games.
