if you want to stick with multiplayer games Overcooked is very engaging and very kid friendly, work together to assemble meals in increasingly hazardous/ridiculous conditions. my niece absolutely loves going ham on it with my brothers and i.

since you have Thousand-Year Door i'd toss in the Super Mario RPG remake. best possible intro to the genre for baby's first RPG.

kids also deeply love Untitled Goose Game in my experience

idk how big your kids are about sports but Rocket League is an ez option for 4 player split screen shenanigans. Nintendo Switch Sports as well in general.

I'm gonna go ahead and veto Overcooked for ya archi. There is no way you win with that game. Your kids will just scream and be pissed at each other cause the sous chef keeps fucking up the vegetables and the head chef didn't throw the protein across the stage correctly. Also, if you don't already know, you can add all of the retro games that normally require a Nintendo online subscription, so you can get all of the NES/SNES/GBA/N64 stuff that they offer online. You install each platform like a game, with something like DBI.

My kids are pretty garbo at games, even though my son has gotten pretty fluent at building stuff in minecraft. They can barely beat level 1-1 of Super Mario Bros, it's shameful really.

Plus one of them is 5. Might pass on Overcooked lol

My wife is quite anti, so they only play for like an hour on non-school days - and that's usually my son playing Minecraft or Minecraft Legends on PS4 with his sisters watching. They just don't have the reps.

My 8 year old daughter and I did beat TMNT arcade at an all you can play birthday party though. Can't wait to see them all trying Shredders Revenge together.
