Nintendo (I hope) knows better than to play with fire here and limit any new games specifically to a redesigned Switch.
If there is a revision, I would wager the bulk of it is in a new dock that provides some additional oompf to high demand games.
My guess is still this being something akin to a DS type add-on for the Switch. A portable dock, if you will, that may come alongside a slight hardware revision to stop the hack-able elements of the current model.
Just don't lock me out of the Xenoblade X port or the rumored kingdom hearts collection (which I seriously doubt is actually happening) and we gucci
Is it easy to homebrew my switch? Can anyone point me in the right direction.

NES Open Tournament Golf – Challenge another player in Stroke, Match and Tournament modes on three fantasy courses in the USA, the UK and Japan. Make sure you keep an eye on the wind and distance to the hole before selecting your club, or else you’ll be racking up some high scores … which is exactly what you don’t want to do in this game.
Solomon’s Key – As Dana, a skilled and talented hero, you must strategically maneuver through over 40 stages using mysterious block-creation skills and other magical powers. Free the captive Fairy in each stage by finding the Bell, and escape by grabbing the Magic Key. Use quick thinking and magical firepower to discover hidden items and evade numerous enemies as you race against the clock.
Super Dodge Ball – In Super Dodge Ball, you take control of the USA Dodge Ball team and travel the world in an effort to become the best dodge ballers around. Step onto playing fields in countries all over the globe and use a combination of normal and super shots to help take down your opponents. But be careful, as some destinations have surfaces that can affect your footing.
There is also a modded Zelda that came out too from my understanding. Start out with the blue bracelet, 255 rupies, and something else.
Can anyone comment on online features when not subscribed to online play within game systems? I heard a podcast talking about how you cant even access leaderboards if you aren't subscribed to the service. If true, that's redonk especially if lack of an internet connection causes the same forced messages they were describing.

Jeff Gerstman from Giant Bomb confirmed that.
I heard this story on there. They also wanted to test this out on Mario Odyssey with leaderboards on that. Can anyone confirm this for something that isnt splatoons 2?
I'm more interested how this looks when you're subscribed with no internet connection. If its still the same idk...might change things this holiday season.

Some minor news that seems to have fallen through the cracks this week:
Finally, a release date!
November 5th.
Jesus. That trailer was on some Up shit. Too early in the day for these feels.
That game looks awesome.
It has been out on other platforms for a few months now, so there are lots of vids and reviews already out. It looked like the perfect game for the switch, so I've been eagerly waiting on the release date.
