They lost the assets to 8 and would need to recreate it to port it.

Not sure why they don't, it must be something difficult. They would make a lot of money off it because they just port one to each system, including phones and everyone buys them a 10th time.

Links awakening remake huh. I could go for a 2d zelda, but the game did look like ass. I enjoyed the art more in a link between worlds, but this was also an early look so I'll reserve judgement for more footage.

Astral Chain and Link's Awakening were pretty good highlights from that. I have no idea why they mentioned Bayonetta 3 and showed nothing though.

I'll be down for that, especially if it has the extra GBC dungeon included, which i'm sure it will. I'm fine with how it looked as the thing is is a re-release of a Game Boy game that was out before a chunk of the switches install base was even born. I hope it does well and they will then port oracle of ages/seasons over next.

Astral Chain was best part of the direct.

Shows a little bit more than the direct.

If FFIX is a not a port of the PS4/PC/iOS version, I'll purchase it. The input lag and terrible movement on those options are terrible.
