they are indeed on the Switch and pretty good recommendations
Overcooked is great but it can get really stressful as you progress to the levels with more complicated recipes and level quirks.
DKC tropical freeze could also be good if you like platformers although you generally take turns playing but they are rather short turns.
Yoshis wooly world. It’s aimed at a younger audience but still fun.
Captain toad. Excellent puzzle game. Highly recommended.
Luigis mansion. You can easily just play through this as a team and just pass the controller and help solve puzzles.
Lego Games. Like. Any of them.
Great, thank you all for the suggestions!
I cant recommend overcooked 2.
Great coop game. Terrible family game. You will argue over it and id just pick another game lmao

One last one...
What The Golf - it’s on sale right now too. It’s hilarious and not at all what you would first expect. Highly recommend to at least watching a trailer.
Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is fun too if you like arcade games. It also includes the original 1986 arcade game.
Yo I'm hopping in on this.
My switch collects dust, probably gonna get what the golf. I'm looking for quick in and out games to play at work since games on my phone are all terrible. I played stardew for like a week then stopped, I get bored of games crazy quick.
I like Tiny Barbarian DX's co-op; it's chill gaming--you can respawn at any time taking just 1 hp from your mate and both players are respawned with every new 'screen' that one player reaches.
It has simple controls, level design throwbacks to DKC games, Sonic, Contra, et al, and tongue-in-cheek parodic use of vidya tropes.
Moving Out looks like a fun game. You're a moving company that gotta pack a truck. Probably not as frustrating as Overcooked. But then again you may start yelling PIVOT at each other.
Slay the Spire.

Right? My fiancee and I never argue about anything or go to bed angry... until we got deep into Overcooked 2.
I hear Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a really good co-op game but I've never played it myself. Personally I think watching each other play a game and take turns is underrated.
A bit related to the convo, Nintendo announced a sale on multiplayer games today. Can't find any details on what's all on sale though.
Awesome. Thanks.
Hell ya, thank you!
