I think it would be difficult to argue that with all of Trump's polices and public statements that he is not a deeply bigoted individual. People who support him either close their eyes and hold their nose to this fact or actively support them, I don't see any other reasoning.

People who don't oppose racists (in this case Trump) are at the very least comfortable with racism.

I don't like the whole "call people Nazis" thing, because it is inaccurate. The racists that support Trump are not members of a 1930s/40s German political party. They are not even German. They are Americans and their political party is Republican.

The fact that there are so many parallels between the current Republican party and the Nazi party is probably worth noting, but calling them Nazis detracts from the things they have actually done and draws a distinction between the Republican party and this "other" group of extremists. Arpaio wasn't roleplaying as a Nazi when he made concentration camps in the Arizona desert. He was playing Republican.

He openly pines for more white immigrants and less brown ones.

Oh and they just ended support for Palestinian refugees via the U.N.
