For real. Nazis at least had the presence of mind not to devolve back into warring tribes.

Fiye speaks for us all now. Even though no one agreed with the majority of his statement lol.

You're doing the same thing, "anyone that voted for trump supports white nationalism" I know you don't actually believe that but you all spew this rhetoric all day.
Hey Day, how do you feel about the Muslim ban? Or about building a wall along the Mexican border?

im totally gay for them
I was being sincere. It's not hard to just ask and discuss these topics instead of devolving into both sides like you love to do. Or rather, complain about others doing while you troll to try and deflect from having to illustrate your opinion on the subject. Making tired jokes is probably easier though.
Either way, after almost 2 years of a racist presidency, if people still want to handwave the comments and actions, then they can, but they need to know they're supporting a racist. If at this point you still support Trump, then it's because you are yourself a racist and dont care, or dont care about racism unless it's to your detriment. Either case is pretty bad and I have no energy to differentiate between them at this point in time.

Honest question Day, does supporting racist policies, that you know for a fact are racist, make you a racist yourself?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
Maybe? Depends on if you have bought into the policy not being inherently racist I guess. Let's say you support the wall for example because you want some kind of border security, maybe imported drugs or gangs killed someone you know and you take issue with that. Does it make you a racist to want to try to resolve that issue somehow? I don't think so. Now if you are in love with the idea cause it will keep the brownies out then yeah obviously.
As far back as I can remember presidents were trying to solve the illegal immigration issue, all of them have said pretty similar things to be honest. You can find ole Bill Clinton proposing very similar ideas and talking almost exact same rhetoric as Trump.
Here it is actually:
Is Bill Clinton and everyone that supported him racists?
The problem with "both sides" is it removes context from the situation. I didn't see Clinton talking about shithole countries, assuming the people coming up from South America are majority criminals, talk about and actually implementing a Muslim ban, the list goes on and on. See the difference between wanting to secure your borders from illegal immigration, and doing the things Trump wants to do? There is a way to do these things and not be racist, but instead we seem to be going the racist route because the leadership is racist. You cant use ignorance as an excuse for this administration, they're told daily what and why what they're doing is racist. Does it really matter if the racist doesn't call himself a racist if he proves again and again that hes racist? I dont think so.
When you remove all context from the situation both sides seem the same. Also, you're conflating not wanting to support racist immigration policies with no policies at all. Not a single Democrat that I know of is saying we dont need more border security, including 1994 Bill Clinton it seems. They support more funding for border security, as long as it doesn't go toward racist actions and ideals, like a border wall or Muslim ban.

And that doesn't touch on the fact that all the people whose business it is to know these things has said a border wall wont actually realize the goals they want. That's because a wall does more than not-keep brown people out, it also shows those inside the walls we wont tolerate your people. We wont tolerate "demographic changes".

i mean if you want to compare the similarities between Trump and B. Clinton, we should probably start with their womanizing lol

Again you are pushing people into a position of either not supporting immigration/border policies or being a racist, based soley on who is currently in office. You didn't do any of this during Clinton or Obama's terms, when deportation and all that were very similar. Even most of those pictures floating around showing how awful the "kids in cages" at the border were from 2014.... remember that little ooopsie?
Wall:
"Travel Ban":The Secure Fence Act of 2006, which was passed by a Republican Congress and signed by President George W. Bush, authorized about 700 miles of fencing along certain stretches of land between the border of the United States and Mexico.
The act also authorized the use of more vehicle barriers, checkpoints and lighting to curb illegal immigration, and the use of advanced technology such as satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles.
At the time the act was being considered, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer were all members of the Senate. (Schumer of New York is now the Senate minority leader.)
Obama, Clinton, Schumer and 23 other Democratic senators voted in favor of the act when it passed in the Senate by a vote of 80 to 19.

While just a suspension, despite what Vox etc will tell you it was still very similar, a good way to find out is to set your google searches to pre-2016 and see how it was received then:

and before I get accused of whataboutism, I feel it's very appropriate to compare and contrast how previous administrations acted and talked about illegal immigration because it would be SUPER easy to twist their words into racism as well.
now fuck off and sea lion somewhere else™
