Nah Talent's referring to Worker Rights v. Company Rights.

Me and him being dirty leftists would rather a Worker's Right be respected than getting fucking thrown out the airlock by the company for their first written offense in this capacity.

By the company's rights they wanted her gone because she pissed off reddit and there's nothing that could've stopped it outside of her supervisor being there and talking that shit down.

I also want the worker's right to be respected to be important, but we don't know her employment history with that company. Maybe she was difficult to work with, or not performing well.

If I have learned anything about working at a large corporation is that they wouldn't just fire someone without having a pretty iron clad case behind the reasoning. Personally, I would have been more than fine with the company just reprimanding her and giving her a warning.

If they made her give an apologetic statement to the individuals involved I would have been okay with that also, but that kind of comes close to some of the shit I don't like seeing with people in other situations. It wouldn't come across as sincere anyways.

I'm sure she'll do fine though. Personal experience shows that many companies are trying to enforce that whole 50/50 split on sex in the workplace so she'll get into another place before too long seeing as the gaming industry is predominately male.
