I'm particularly tired of this whole child touching being the special line. As a Catholic in Catholic schooling for 13 years I want to know why no one has a problem with this humor when you throw in a Priest to be the butt of the joke. If that's really all you need for it to be okay to laugh about touching kids then something is wrong with this picture. Also I get that child predators are real and pose a real danger but this just screams insufferable parent syndrome. Anyone who thinks it's okay to laugh at institutional injustices like slavery or atrocities like Holocaust which are immeasurably greater but wants to toot some line about "The ONE thing I can't stand is kid creepers" are trash.

She posted a thread about how she writes personal stories and how you can't write personal stories for a protagonist who everyone is supposed to self insert into. Fine. Interesting discussion. A fan and community contributor who is very respected among the community replied with another well thought out response, proposing that perhaps dialog wheels were a solution. This was not done in an attempt to mansplain or mock. This was done as a fan trying to talk to a dev about something they were mutually interested in on a thread started by the dev. Following along? Okay. How does she reply to this? By being a bitch. Now, you might go "Gosh, I bet the fan didn't respond well to that!" Nope. He responded respectfully and even tried to apologize for upsetting her. And then she mocked him again. And then he made a third attempt to smooth out any ruffled feathers and disengage. And she mocked him AGAIN.

THAT is why she got fired. She got fired for being an unprofessional asshole on a twitter account she used as a face for her role at ArenaNet. She didn't have or need any help. She did this aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall herself. But please, tell me how it's Gamergate's fault she went full bitch mode.
