Charleston was nice but I would never willingly live there. Wife wants to live in Charlotte but jesus christ the only place I could be convinced would be Asheville, NC and even then I'd have to be retired because fuck trying my luck in the job market there. I def don't wanna end up working as a technician in the paper mill in Canton because my sex life would bottom the fuck out.

Yeah gf? in A-school was on 35-5s. Half way her fault though didn't really study stayed out late after lol. Shit I rode the 0-0s vast majority of the time once I learned "we grade for understanding and meaning" was a lie and yes I'm still salty and remember specifically things I got marked down for on those first couple of tests and my LPO (or whatever they were called there) saying I thought you said you were smart. After I wised up after that the worst I got was a talking to about how I should stop trying to actually get 0 hours for the week lol. Well that and why did I go to Raleigh the entire weekend before an exam. Straight up told my physics instructor MTG prerelease >>> studying.

But yeah wasn't bad one of the better experiences I've had on the east coast outside of parts of Florida... but it's still the east coast.

Pretty much my experience. Much more casual racism than I was used to but it was just that casual and still weirdly friendly. Even with the people mistaking me for a few different brown ethnicities back then when I still had a good tan
