Reports are coming out of LaGuardia Airport in Queens, that an Air Canada CRJ has ramed a Fire Truck on landing.

Ground ATC cleared The Fire Truck to cross runway 4 at Delta just as the plane was landing. LaGuardia airport is closed indefinitely per FAA.

Related to the incident, Air Canada CEO will retire by the end of Q3 2026. A significant reason is he doesn't speak French. The English-only statement offering condolences to the deceased pilots pissed off Quebec that the board asked for the CEO's resignation.
