i smoked like 20 chicken thighs this weekend and brought them into a couple crock pots and made carolina bqq shredded chicken and another batch with sweet baby rays

used to be a breast man but for smoking the thighs or quarters work so good, converted.

thighs seem to be a lot cheaper too, you can find huge packs of boneless skinless ones for super cheap sometimes

my father in law just throws a pack of those into a crock pot and pours a bottle of bbq sauce in there and leaves it on low all day and that shit turns out pretty damn good for the amount of effort involved, I just smoked them for a bit first to get that smoke flava in there

i been trying to get better at smoking the quarters but its hard to get the skin crispy and not fuckin rubber when you smoke
